5 Cloud-Vorhersagen für das Jahr 2020 (Teil 2)
Today’s enterprise clouds continue to evolve, and enterprises must evolve with them by leveraging the next generation cloud model. The new blog article talks about the cloud predictions 3 – 5:
5 Cloud predictions for the year 2020 (Part 2)
Prediction 3: 100% of supply chains depend on augmented reality, virtual reality, block chain, machine learning and IoT.
Intelligent, automated systems are rapidly gaining acceptance in many industries, leading to paradigm shifts in system design, logistics, manufacturing, infrastructure and more. Increased buyer expectations, shorter product life cycles, new regulations and fluctuating requirements are testing the limits of traditional supply chains and driving the introduction of new technologies. Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) interfaces provide a richer experience for workers, including 3D renderings that allow shop floor workers to visualize equipment configurations. Field service and general service requests can also be supported. Voice-activated wizards can retrieve product information and report production milestones to provide insight into current conditions detected by IoT sensors. Blockchain solves major supply chain challenges by limiting counterfeiting and improving visibility/traceability. Materials and products that are shipped worldwide must pass through multiple suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, carriers and service providers. Blockchain de-regulates global supply chains that were previously based on centralized governance models and creates decentralized, distributed and digital records of transactions that are anonymous, tamper-proof and unalterable.
What does VOQUZ offer? VOQUZ summarizes these topics under Digital Business. This includes the possibility to implement Smart Contracts in the block chain with us or to create complex AR and VR worlds through one of our partners. The topic of IoT can be found in our Future Mobility and Customer Experience section.
Prediction 4: Automated business processes enable more personalized interactions in HR, sales and other business areas.
AI and autonomous technologies permeate the workplace, streamlining routine business processes and enabling professionals to focus on more meaningful and productive human interactions. For example, automated workflows can streamline the recruitment process by tracking applicants and processing requests for new hires. Some HR teams use AI to identify top candidates by comparing their stated qualifications with job postings. Chatbots can communicate with candidates to answer questions and schedule interviews. These automated functions facilitate routine administrative tasks, allowing HR professionals to focus on hiring qualified candidates that fit the culture of the company. By 2025, 70% of recruitment will be done by AI and bots.
In sales, AI systems can analyze large amounts of data to identify the leads that are most likely to lead to sales. AI systems compile large amounts of customer data, from social media postings and customer interaction histories to sales and service events. AI’s self-learning capabilities enable software processes to interact with many people simultaneously while enforcing consistent brand messages. Software bots can qualify leads, evaluate opportunities and provide targeted recommendations to potential customers. They can adjust prices and recommend products based on shopping cart analysis and browsing history. While the heart of sales will always be human interaction, the value of these intelligent technologies will continue to grow. By 2025, 80% of sales will be automated, allowing salespeople to focus on building relationships and customer loyalty.
What does VOQUZ offer? With our product VCrawl we automate a large part of the recruiting process using AI. In combination with ORACLE products and our experience in Customer Experience, we are also able to personalize customer recommendations and automate business processes.
Prediction 5: Cyber security attacks will become more complex with the use of IoT and AI and the risk of internal data breaches will increase.
As useful as machine learning technologies are to the business, they can also become powerful weapons. Cybercriminals create automated systems to break through corporate networks and steal sensitive data. AI and IoT will soon become common software tools for cyber attackers. And as devices store more and more personal information, they are becoming new targets for these attackers. Malicious IoT can infect connected devices and help criminals steal identities or commit a distributed denial of service attack. According to Forrester, the rapid adoption of IoT leads to a larger attack surface, often created with few security controls, that makes companies accessible in new ways. Similarly, attackers have a greater target area as businesses and individuals become more dependent on cloud-based storage.
By 2025, 80% of security attacks will come from an internal source. Security misconfigurations can occur at any level of the technology stack, from network services to the database, and attackers often exploit these vulnerabilities to compromise information systems. In many cases, security patches are not applied quickly enough, creating an easy path for attackers to target these known vulnerabilities. Lack of automation also carries a high risk of human error. Automated cyber security processes can detect misconfigurations and provide continuous protection. The most reliable way to counter these growing threats is to use autonomous technologies that can apply patches automatically and verify system integrity around the clock.
What does VOQUZ offer? VOQUZ has been active in the security environment for years. We have developed our QAST service to help our customers check their software code for security vulnerabilities and best practices. We also support DAX companies with firewalls and log management systems.
